Jagdish Dotel

Jagdish Dotel is a climate expert with 7+ years’ experience in anticipatory action, disaster risk reduction, early warning systems (EWS), and impact-based forecasting (IBF). He holds Master’s degrees in Hydrology & Meteorology from Tribhuvan University and Physical Geography from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. At Mercy Corps Nepal, seconded to DHM, he leads national drought monitoring and forecasting and supports EWS and IBF to enable proactive, data-driven disaster response.
